The Urdu Church App is a free Christian companion built for the Urdu-speaking Christian community worldwide. It is a complete digital ministry platform — Bible reading in Urdu and English, daily verses, reading plans, a prayer wall, live Sunday services, worship songs, healthy-living tools, family-friendly games, and creator tools for pastors and ministry leaders. The app is free to download and use on both iOS and Android.
When you create a free account, we collect the minimum information needed to provide the service:
Your bookmarks, reading position, highlighted verses, personal notes, voice recordings, photos, designs you create in the creator tools, expense entries, and step-counter history are stored privately on your device only. None of this leaves your phone unless you explicitly share or export it.
The optional Step Counter in our Healthy Living section reads your device's built-in pedometer solely to show you your own daily steps. Step data is stored locally on your device only — it is never uploaded to any server, never shared with anyone, and never used for advertising.
If you take part in the weekly Bible Quiz League, your display name, country/region, answers, and score are processed on our secure servers to calculate results and leaderboards fairly. Winners may be contacted through the contact details on their profile to arrange their prize.
Prayer requests you submit to the Prayer Wall are visible to other registered members of the Urdu Church community so they can pray for you. You can post anonymously if you prefer, and you can delete your prayer requests at any time.
Account data is stored securely on Google Firebase, which uses industry-standard encryption both in transit (TLS) and at rest. We will never share, sell, or rent your personal information to any third party. Your data is used solely to provide the service you are using.
The Urdu Church App contains no advertisements and never will. The free features are funded by voluntary donations and the optional Pro subscription. The Word of God is not for sale.
The app is suitable for all ages. Bible Quiz, kids' games, and family-friendly features are designed with children in mind. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Parents are encouraged to supervise their children's use of the app.
Creator tools (Voice Recording, Studio Mode, Dual Camera, Teleprompter, design tools) request access to your camera, microphone, and photo library only when you actively use those features. Recordings, photos, and designs created with these tools are saved to your device only — they are never sent to any server unless you choose to upload or share them yourself.
You can edit your profile, change your password, or delete your account at any time from the Settings menu inside the app. Deleting your account permanently removes your personal information from our systems within 30 days. You may also request deletion by emailing us at info@urduchurch.com.
The Urdu Church App is available on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and as a web application at app.urduchurch.com.
